Tipping the Scale…Real Life Weight Loss Tips from a “PFG”

Don’t know what a PFG is, well I’m one…a Previous Fat Guy.  One of the biggest reasons I started this blog was to share what I’ve learned throughout my transformation from Obese to almost Ironman (September Baby!).   ”Tipping the Scale” will be a series of posts about my personal insights and methods that worked for me during my weight loss journey.

As of now I am not trying to lose weight, I’ve done that, TWICE!  I’m now maintaining my weight and enjoying the freedom and health that has come from this change.  That said, the same principles, methods, thoughts, beliefs, etc. I used to help drop the weight, I continue to use to maintain my weight…just tweaked a bit to make applicable to life today.

Not everything that worked for me will work for you because weight loss and change is very individual.  What I share worked for me though and I’ve kept the weight off for a year and a half. 

I definitely don’t know it all and am not a licensed health professional.  Check with your doctor or licensed health professional before changing things up.

First “Tipping the Scale” post coming very soon.  The tip will be one of the simplest changes to make physically, but very tough mentally and emotionally.  But like all difficult changes it will be worth it!  Now quit reading and go kill a workout! :)
